If you spend much time on the web browsing various performance automotive related bulletin boards, you have probably heard of programs such as LT1_Edit or TunerCAT. These programs allow you to re-program your car's PCM (Powertrain Control Module), allowing you to tune it to your specific mods. To use one of these programs, you need to be able to pull the stock settings from your PCM and re-load them after you make your changes. This is where I come in. Using my interface cables, you can upload your modified program into your car's PCM from your laptop or even your desktop PC! These cables can also be used to scan for trouble codes and to log engine & transmission data with programs such as Freescan and PCMcomm.

The cars that these cables are most often used with are:

  • 1994-1995 LT1 F-, B-, and Y-body Cars (LT1 Engine)
  • 1996-1997 OBDI Retrofitted F- and B-body Cars (LT1 Engine)
  • 1992/1993 Y- and 1993 F-body cars (LT1 Engine)
  • 1991-1993 Syclone/Typhoon
  • 1986-1989 Tuned Port Injection (TPI) Cars (L98 MAF)
  • 1990-1992 TPI Cars (L98 MAP)
  • Lotus of late 80s / early 90s vintage
  • and more!
